Our exclusive select fire course is the only course that is offered to the general public in the State of Florida.  This 8 hour, one day course is dynamic and fast paced.  It includes the operation and manipulation of the open and closed bolt submachine guns like the H&K MP5, Beretta M12, British Sterling and the Colt M-16.  Course methodologies come from the NRA Law Enforcement Activities Division, as well as the H&K submachine gun operators course.  This class also provides an overview of the competition aspect of the full auto world.  TFA has several automatic and suppressed firearms for rent, or your can bring your own NFA registered firearm.

 

• Equipment discussion (optics, slings, carry rigs, mags)
• 8 Fundamentals of Marksmanship
• Presentation (ready positions)
• Magazine changes / loading & unloading
• Clearing malfunctions
• Transition to secondary weapon
• Burst control
• Position engagement (kneeling-prone)
• Firing from the support shoulder
• Flash sight picture

Firearm Rental: $80.00 (includes sling, magazine pouches, 3 magazines and selective fire carbine with optics/iron sights)

 

Required Items

 

• NFA registered full auto carbine/patrol rifle
• NFA Weapon documentation (if applicable)
• Ear protection and wrap around eye protection (Mandatory)
• Spare batteries for sights and tools for sight adjustment
• Optics such as red dot or magnified optics with iron sight as backup
• Maintenance/Repair Kit
• 3 extra magazines with magazine pouches
•750 rounds of ammunition
• Weapon sling
• Pistol with holster, spare magazine and 200 rounds ammunition
• Long pants with belt loops and a sturdy belt.
• Lightweight clothing and light in color, avoid black (NO tank tops or V-necks)
• Sturdy, closed toe shoes (athletic, hiking, outdoor styled shoes. NO open toe shoes)
• Ball cap or brimmed hat, and sunscreen
• Insect repellent
• Snacks and lunchtime meals
• Adequate water to remain hydrated
• Note Taking Materials
