The TFA Carbine Steel Challenge was put into play at the beginning of 2024 and promotes the use of carbines as the primary weapon with a handgun as a backup. This challenge will have distances from 35 to 200 yards. Both 556, 7.62 and 9mm will be allowed.
This event is open to all TFA students and provides the ability to practice what they’ve learned in our training classes. The TFA Steel Challenge is also open to other shooters if they have a completed structured training class in the discipline they wish to participate. This is an intermediate to advanced event. It is not an instructional training class nor is it open to beginner/new shooters.
