Andrew Blaschik is the Chief Firearms Instructor and owner of Tactical Firearms Academy. Andy holds firearms instructor certifications in pistol, rifle, shotgun, low light, Simunition™ , and sub-machinegun. He also holds active certifications with the State of Florida as firearms instruction for law enforcement and civilians, is certified to teach security officer D, G, a member of International Association of Law Enforcement Instructors (IALEFI) as well the National Rifle Association of America (NRA).
In addition to being a Chief Firearms Instructor, Andy is an instructor with Miami-Dade College School of Justice. In May 2016 Andy became the exclusive Developer and Trainer for the Zoological Emergency Response Team nationwide and internationally. The development of the zoological specific training has grown to be a collaborative platform amongst 5 facilities in Florida alone. This program has expanded to include institutions from other states in the continental US and is continuing to add more. Andy holds several armorer certifications including Beretta, Glock and Smith & Wesson weapons systems so he has a thorough understanding of firearms and their functionality. Andy has been teaching the safe use of firearms for over 20 years and is an active competitive shooter with numerous first place wins in national competitions. Andy offers a wide range of services:
