This course covers Beginner training, combining the fundamental and basic skills necessary for combat marksmanship with the tactical knowledge required surviving with a pistol in a hostile environment. This course consist of nine hours of training on an outdoor range. Each student must have a Concealed weapons permit or have applied for one. Class size is kept small  to permit individual instruction. A certificate of training is awarded to those students who complete and pass the course and exhibit competence and safe gun handling skills. Students must provide their own handgun, revolver or semi-automatic pistol, holster, three speed loaders or speed strips or three pistol magazines, eye and ear protection and 500 rounds of ammunition. If needed, equipment rentals and ammunition are available upon request.
