This course combines the fundamental and basic skills necessary for self defense shooting that will teach you combat marksmanship along with the tactical knowledge required for surviving with a pistol in a hostile environment. This is the entry level of Tactical Firearms Academy’s pistol courses and emphasis is placed on the basic shooting skills, accuracy,  and incorporating the newly acquired skills into tactical applications.

During this demanding 8 hour course, students will learn weapon safety and handling, grip and stance, pistol presentation and firing techniques from a holster, pistol marksmanship principles, dot drills, reloading and malfunctions and beginning movement.

At the end of this course, all shooters will have to pass a qualification course of fire with added stress conditions that will apply all techniques from this class. Do you have what it takes to pass Tactical Pistol I?
