H.R. 218 “The Law Enforcement Officers Safety Act”
Tactical Firearms Academy is a leading provider of HR 218 – Florida Department of Law Enforcement qualification courses in the South Florida area. HR 218 – Florida Department of Law Enforcement firearm qualification courses are conducted by Andy Blaschik, a Florida C.J.S.T.C Law Enforcement Firearms Instructor – FDLE Certified. This course is available to all retired law enforcement officers (LEO) residing in the state of Florida and qualification is done by appointment only, Monday thru Sunday from 10:00 AM to 8:30 PM.
Retirees must be Florida residents and are required to present proof of residency along with their retiree credentials.
We now offer this class to all retired law enforcement, regardless of residence!

Duration: 1 Hours
Location: Multiple locations available
Course Fee: $85 for first firearm – includes range fee, target and one box of ammunition (.380, 9mm, .40 or .45 only) . Each additional firearm is $20
• Pistol or revolver with holster, spare ammunition carrier/magazine holder
• Long pants with belt loops and a sturdy belt.
• Lightweight clothing and light in color, avoid black (NO tank tops or V-necks)
• Sturdy, closed toe shoes (athletic, hiking, outdoor styled shoes. NO open toe shoes)
